Hi there I'm sorry but I was following this tut, when I notice that to do the gradient effect you have to use the gradient tool, I do not know if this is different in photoshop cs4 but in cs5 the tool for this is call blend and is under the gradient in cs5, but in your image is under the eye dropper tool, I said this because the gradient tool does not work like that in photoshop cs5
Hi Paloma, Yes you're right, it is the Blend Tool that is used for this function. I'm guessing that you are talking about Illustrator CS5 and not Photoshop CS5
